Chers parents,
As we head into the holiday season and into 2013 I would like to thank you all for your wonderful support and encouragement.  We have a delightful group of students who are growing and learning a lot in French.  We will be having a performance put on by our class and Mme McCrea’s class January 24th for the assembly time to show some of what we are learning about winter.  The assembly will start around 9:05am.  If you are able to attend we would love to see you there!  We will also begin our new MIMI poster in January.  May your holidays be refreshing and may the New Year be filled with good things.
Joyeux Noël et bonne année!

Please note:
*If anyone can help volunteer for Santa's workshop Wed. Dec 19th please let the office know.
*I forgot to mention the sharing theme for January. It will be: "Le meilleur souvenir de mes vacances" ~The best memory of my holidays.
*January 10th is Spirit Day: Backwards day/ Un jour à l'envers

Quelle journée! What a day!

We had a wonderful time at Holiday Hoopla with Sylvia Chave. Thank you to the moms who joined us on the trip!  It was a nice little walk and the students participated and behaved very well.  Bravo! Later on I met up with some of you at the Winter Carnival.  What a fun day.

Holiday Hoopla and Winter Carnival

(This photo was on Sylvia's site--do you recognize this teacher?  This is not Mme Wallace.)
We are looking forward to Holiday Hoopla this week as we sing with Sylvia.  Thank you to all those  volunteering to come.  We are learning various holiday and Christmas themed words as well as some Christmas and winter songs.
Be sure to come to the Winter Carnival at  the school.  "Hot chocolate, sleigh rides, crafts, cookie decorating and lots of fun! Also we will have caroling in the gymnasium, but no formal program."
